Code & Co. conducted Tech & Product Due Diligence for Frog Capital on its investment in sofatutor, a German online learning platform for students.
At the beginning of 2018, sofatutor GmbH secured a new shareholder in its fourth round of financing, with Frog Capital joining as an investor. With fresh capital of approximately three million euros, the Berlin-based company plans to further develop its online learning platform, sofatutor.com, and expand its presence in the education market across the DACH region.
Scope of Work
Code & Co. performed a comprehensive audit of sofatutor’s software, covering its technical architecture, infrastructure, and technology stack, with a focus on scalability and addressing technical debt.
Furthermore, Code & Co. assessed the product team and roadmap, identifying opportunities for innovation and improved team dynamics. The review concluded with an evaluation of engineering processes, knowledge management, team structure, and quality improvements.
