Marlin Equity Partners (“Marlin”), a leading global investment firm with $7.2 billion under management, is headquartered in Los Angeles, California.
Copenhagen-headquartered Heimdal Security (“Heimdal”) operates a comprehensive endpoint security suite that protects companies against cybercrime.
Florian Hofmann, a principal at Marlin, noted: “In the face of modern threats, Heimdal is uniquely positioned to address the rapidly evolving cybersecurity needs of small and medium-sized enterprises, for whom traditional solutions such as antivirus and firewalls are proving increasingly insufficient.”
Code & Co. led the technical and product due diligence process to assess Heimdal’s technical capabilities, including architecture, infrastructure, and scalability, as well as the company’s product strategy and product development lifecycle.
Throughout the due diligence review, Code & Co. collaborated with the operating team at Marlin that would support Heimdal with product and commercial operations after the acquisition.
Steven Hargreaves, Operating Partner at Marlin Equity: “Code & Co. has become an essential sparring partner with up-to-date knowledge and vast experience. Their work results in well-balanced audits that uncover risks and untapped opportunities and provide value far into the holding period.”
