Code & Co. advises Oakley Capital ahead of its investment in Konzept & Marketing, an underwriting agent in Germany for private non-life insurance products.

Oakley Capital, a leading pan-European private equity investor, announced that Oakley Capital Fund V is investing in Konzept & Marketing (“K&M”). K&M is a leading, independent Managing General Agent (“MGA”) in the German, personal non-life insurance market. Oakley invested alongside insurance veteran Joachim Müller, former CEO of Allianz Commercial, who will oversee a buy-and-build strategy as Chairman.

Scope of Work

Code & Co. conducted a thorough review of Konzept & Marketing’s platform. The assessment included an analysis of its technical architecture, infrastructure, technology stack, cybersecurity practices, and open-source compliance.

Additionally, Code & Co. examined Konzept & Marketing’s IT roadmap and the company's operational excellence, including its  rollout and onboarding processes, highlighting its focus on AI-driven automation, cloud adoption, and enhanced user experience.

The review also evaluated Konzept & Marketing’s engineering team, software development lifecycle, and technical debt management, emphasizing its agile methodologies and modern tools.
